A person missing from the First Karabakh War, Bahadur Kamalov, has been buried in the village of Zar, Kalbajar. His remains were found after the 44-day Patriotic War.
Oxu.Az reports citing "Report" that the funeral was held in a new cemetery in Zar.
Bahadur Muhammad oglu Kamalov, a resident of Zar village, Kalbajar district, was born on January 19, 1937. He worked in local government bodies, serving as chairman of the Zar village soviet, and actively participated in the socio-political and social life of the village.
Kamalov went missing on April 5, 1993, during the occupation of Kalbajar district by Armenian armed forces. For many years, no accurate information about his fate was available, and he was listed as missing. As a result of search, identification, and forensic medical examinations, the remains of Bahadur Kamalov were identified.
