The President of the International Sikh Federation, Moninder Singh, spoke at a conference in Baku.
He participated in the international conference titled "June 1984, Amritsar events: India's transnational repressions against ethnic minorities in the context of genocide."
Singh noted that they were welcomed at a high level in Azerbaijan and given the opportunity for dialogue.
"Today, our struggle enters a new phase. The Indian state aims either for our physical destruction or our assimilation," he emphasized.
