Mother kills 7-year-old son with scissors in Georgia

A horrific incident occurred in the village of Damirli, Bolnisi municipality, Georgia. 42-year-old Svetlana Ahmadova killed her 7-year-old son Farrukh Ahmadov with scissors.

The incident happened on May 31. The mother suffered from mental health issues. Little Farrukh saw his mother preparing to commit suicide and tried to save her by calling his grandmother. However, Svetlana stabbed him in the heart with scissors.

At the time of the incident, the family's other three children were also in the house. Farrukh died at the scene from blood loss. The mother also injured herself but doctors managed to save her life.

Villagers said there were no conflicts in the family. The woman was detained by the police.
