MP Fazil Mustafa spoke at the Milli Majlis about the scandal involving the Turan Tovuz football club.

He said: "A businessman took over the club, spent millions, led the team to European cups, only to find out the club cannot participate in European competitions for 10 years due to a prior sanction. The club was not informed about this penalty."

The MP described this as a manifestation of corruption, warning that such cases discourage investment in sports.
