The next hearing in the criminal case against former chairman of the Seaside Boulevard Administration Ilgar Mustafayev, his assistant Rashad Badalov, and director of GIRASOL LLC Fuad Babayev was held.
Due to a change in the judge panel, the investigation was renewed at the Baku Court of Grave Crimes. Witnesses testified.
Witness Aydin Alkhasov said he knew the defendants: "I got a job at the Boulevard Administration. I worked as a bicycle mechanic. I received 600-700 manat via card and 300 manat in cash."
Another witness, Tohid Abbasov, stated he operated popcorn machines. Contradictions arose between his preliminary investigation testimony and court testimony.
Witness Tural Mirzayev said he collected rent from facilities on the boulevard and handed it over to Fuad Babayev.
The next hearing is scheduled for July 10.
Ilgar Mustafayev and others are accused of embezzling over 12 million manat, tax evasion, and money laundering.
