Hijran Huseynova, chair of the Milli Majlis Committee on Family, Women and Children Affairs, stated that there is a need for a new law on "Family Planning and Reproductive Health."

During a plenary session, she emphasized strengthening the promotion of gender equality culture and implementing social programs for girls' education and vocational training.

Huseynova noted that civil society and media should be more actively involved in this area.
