Insurance registration will now be based solely on the FIN number from the ID card. Legislative amendments effective today eliminate the requirement for a social security number (SSN).
The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection stated that SSN will no longer be required during hiring or in quarterly reports. Instead, the FIN will be used as the primary identifier.
The changes simplify administrative procedures, speed up data exchange, and strengthen integration between electronic systems. This serves the application of innovative solutions in the social insurance field.
