In Karabakh and East Zangezur, we are not just rebuilding territories. Reconstruction is not only about roads and buildings; it is about rebuilding opportunities and daily life, says Deputy Minister Farhad Hajiyev.
Speaking at the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) in Baku, the deputy minister noted that Azerbaijan has built hundreds of settlements in these areas.
"We are reshaping the concept of living, working, studying, and developing through green energy, digital innovation, and human-centered urban planning," he added.
Thousands of people already live, work, and study in these revitalized regions. Preserving cultural heritage, maintaining traditions, and strengthening social solidarity are essential parts of sustainable urban development.
