New political commitments proposed at WUF13

At WUF13, UN-Habitat chief Anaclaudia Rossbach proposed new political commitments to tackle homelessness and improve housing.

Anaclaudia Rossbach, Executive Director of the UN-Habitat, proposed new political commitments during WUF13.

The proposal was made at a ministerial meeting on the New Urban Agenda chaired by Azerbaijan.

Rossbach noted that many people worldwide are homeless. If countries take new political commitments, people will live better and have housing.
