Azerbaijan is introducing new rules for internet providers. Social media platforms must verify users' ages.
Under the new law, providers must repeat age verification if doubts arise. Access will be restricted immediately if age requirements are violated.
Collected personal data can only be used for age verification. Storing or sharing with third parties is prohibited.
Special safety measures are required for users aged 16-18. Harmful content must be removed within 24 hours.
Providers must submit annual reports. The law will take effect 12 months after publication.
