New roads to be built in Baku and Absheron

Under the 2025-2030 State Program, transport infrastructure in Baku and Absheron is being upgraded.

According to AYNA, vehicles from Mehdiabad, Binagadi and surrounding areas cause significant congestion. To solve this, construction of the new Mehdiabad-Baksol-Ziya Bunyadov highway is planned.

The new road will connect from the Mehdiabad-Binagadi area to Binagadi Highway. As a result, traffic flow will be balanced, reducing daily congestion.

Additionally, a direct connection from Azadlig Avenue-Binagadi Highway to Binagadi-Novkhani road will be provided. A new tram line will also offer comfort to passengers.
