Next relocation to Shusha planned for 2027

The next relocation to Shusha city is planned for 2027. Currently 1,411 people have settled, no relocation this year.

The next relocation to Shusha city is planned for 2027. According to Oxu.Az, Aydin Karimov, special representative of the President of Azerbaijan in Shusha district, told journalists.

He stated that currently 1,411 former internally displaced persons have settled in Shusha: "There will be no relocation to the city this year because construction work in the buildings continues. The next relocation is planned for next year."

This year, a large number of families are expected to be relocated to two villages of Shusha - Boyuk and Kichik Galadere. Preparatory work will begin soon.

Also, relocation to the Turshsu settlement of Shusha city is planned for 2027. Aydin Karimov said that this settlement will be built from scratch: "After the construction work is completed, we plan to organize relocation to this settlement next year."
