Aydin Karimov, special representative of the Azerbaijani President in Shusha district, stated that there will be no need for an additional railway station in Shusha in the near future.
Responding to Oxu.Az, Karimov noted that the distance between Khankendi and Shusha is shortening: "The road is being reconstructed and the distance will decrease by several kilometers. Currently, it takes about 10-15 minutes to travel from the center of Shusha to the center of Khankendi, and this time will be further reduced in the future."
He added that the planned Khankendi station will be located slightly outside the city, close to Shusha: "This will be convenient both for visitors coming to Shusha and for people traveling to the region."
