The Azerbaijan Food Safety Agency (AFSA) has announced the results of monitoring in the country.
Monitoring was conducted from November to December 2025 and from January to May 2026. Wetlands, national parks, reserves, hunting grounds, and poultry farms were inspected.
Samples were taken from wild and domestic birds for laboratory analysis. No bird flu or Newcastle disease was detected in any sample.
AFSA stated that no cases of infection with these diseases were recorded in the country. Educational activities on compliance with veterinary rules were also carried out.
