Today, court documents revealed that Amal Melikov, who died in the crash, had prior drug charges, sparking renewed debate.
Some claimed Amal might have been under the influence at the time of the accident.
However, a forensic medical examination by the Ministry of Health refutes this.
According to the report: "No ethyl alcohol, narcotics, or potent substances were found in the deceased's blood."
The court's verdict is based on evidence and expert opinions. Parties can appeal if dissatisfied.
