Officials have responded to complaints from residents of Boyat village in Ucar district about using dirty water.
The Regional Water Melioration Service said the village has 113 hectares of homestead and 908 hectares of share land.
There is no modular water treatment plant or public water fountains in the village. The population's water needs are met through irrigation water.
The village water supply comes from the Shirvan Irrigation Canal via the R-8 distributor through the Kasber canal. Repair works are underway at the Kasber canal.
The agency stated that regular monitoring measures are carried out to prevent pollution of water sources.
