"Now is the time to act. This is not just a call for words. Decisions must be effectively implemented for the welfare of people and the progress of countries."

These remarks were made by Nqa Kor Minq, the Acting President of the UN-Habitat Assembly, in an interview with Oxu.Az during the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) in Baku.

He stated that the World Urban Forum is a very important event: "This year marks the 10th anniversary of the adoption of the New Urban Agenda, which gives it special significance. We hope that over 30,000 delegates at the forum will come up with a concrete action plan.

Thus, during the mid-term review of the New Urban Agenda, we will be able to see its practical implementation. It is crucial that all local governments worldwide join the voluntary local reporting process. This will allow us to track progress, compare results across countries, and develop together."
