Number of female deputy mayors increases

Statistics reveal the number of female deputy mayors in Azerbaijan in 2025. Numbers and percentages included.

Number of female deputy mayors increases

According to 2025 statistics, among employees of Baku city and regional executive authorities, 5,063 (75.6%) are men and 1,633 (24.4%) are women.

Oxu.Az reports citing "Unikal" that last year, 121 (66.9%) deputy mayors were men and 60 (33.1%) were women.

In 2025, in Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic's 8 city and district executive authorities, 689 men and 250 women worked. Among deputy mayors, 13 were men and 5 were women.
