Claims have spread on social media about the illegal demolition of a house at 78 B.Safaroglu Street, Yasamal district.
Oxu.Az reports that the Yasamal District Executive Power has issued a statement. The house of resident Tatyana Agafonova has expired its service life. The resident demanded an amount several times higher than the market value.
Additionally, there is an illegally constructed extension that negatively affects the building's stability and worsens the dilapidated condition. Currently, only the illegal extension is being demolished, not the main house.
In the former "Sovetski" area, buildings with expired service life are being demolished. Residents are compensated at market value. After completion, the area will be renovated, and historical buildings will be restored.
