Khaled Hajiyev, a graduate of the Azerbaijan National Conservatory, claims he was denied a job at a music school for visually impaired children despite vacancies.
He applied in April but was told they were not hiring, while others were brought in by the Ministry of Culture.
The Ministry responded that teacher recruitment is conducted through competitive exams. The next exam is scheduled for the first ten days of August.
The Ministry emphasized that disability does not automatically disqualify a candidate, but all must pass the same competition.
