Official Statement on Death of Soldier with 20 Days of Service

Soldier Huseyn Asadov, serving in the State Border Service, died yesterday.

He was called up for military service 20 days ago and was buried in Bina cemetery.

While no official cause of death has been released, it is claimed he fell ill during service.

Parviz Sadraddinov, head of the Public Relations and International Relations Department of the State Service for Mobilization and Conscription, said a criminal case has been launched and an investigation is underway.
