Education Minister Emin Amrullayev announced that over 91,000 teachers who passed certification have received salary increases.
Speaking at the event "Certification: Competent Teacher - Quality Education", the minister stated that out of 104,435 teachers involved in certification exams from 2022-2026, 60,818 received a 10% increase, while 30,590 received a 35% increase for high results.
In total, salaries of 91,408 teachers were raised. Contracts of 9,334 teachers who failed both attempts were terminated.
According to statistics, 58% scored 30-50 points, 29% scored 51 or higher, 9% passed on second attempt, 4% failed both. In 2026, 20,229 teachers will participate in interviews.
