A power outage occurred yesterday in the Ujar district. Complaints were received by Oxu.Az.
According to reports, the interruptions affected both the district center and surrounding residential areas.
In response to Oxu.Az's inquiry, "Azerishiq" OJSC stated that the outage was due to weather conditions. Strong winds and storms damaged power lines.
"Last night's strong wind caused short-term interruptions in some areas of the Ujar Electric Network. Tree branches and trunks broke and fell onto power lines, disrupting the electricity supply. Emergency crews promptly carried out repair and restoration work, quickly eliminating the interruptions," the statement said.
