Repair works are underway on an alternative route following the demolition of the damaged bridge at the 55th km of the M-2 highway in Qobustan.
According to Oxu.Az, the State Agency of Azerbaijan Automobile Roads released a statement.
The goal is to ensure safe and comfortable movement for drivers during the construction of the new bridge.
The decision to demolish the bridge in a dangerous condition was made after a technical assessment.
