Intermittent rain is expected in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula from the evening of May 29 until the morning of May 30.
According to Oxu.Az, the National Hydrometeorology Service has issued a statement.
It is reported that in some parts of the peninsula, rain may intensify briefly and thunderstorms are possible.
From May 29 daytime, starting from the northern and western regions of Azerbaijan, until May 31 daytime, weather conditions are forecast to be intermittent with precipitation in some areas. In some places, short-term heavy rain, thunderstorms, hail, and in high mountainous areas snow are expected; on May 29, precipitation may intensify in some areas.
Due to precipitation, river levels are expected to rise, and short-term floods and mudflows are possible in some mountain rivers.
Due to unstable weather conditions across the country, temperatures will drop by 3-6 degrees compared to previous days.
