Despite the start of summer, unstable and cool weather has negatively affected the beach season.

At Novkhany beaches, far fewer people are seen compared to previous years. Rain and wind have sharply reduced the number of customers.

Ibrahim Novruzov, administrator of one seaside facility, said that unlike previous Junes, this year the beaches have been almost empty.

Entrepreneurs planned to earn most of their income during the three summer months, but with one third of the season already passed, expected profits have not been achieved.

Annual rent for seaside facilities ranges from 60,000 to 80,000 manats. If the current weather continues, many may end the season at a loss.
