In Baku and the Absheron Peninsula, intermittent rain is expected from the evening of May 16 to May 19.
According to the National Hydrometeorology Service, rain may intensify in some parts of the peninsula, with possible thunderstorms.
In the regions of Azerbaijan, unstable and rainy weather will continue in some places until the end of the second decade of May. Heavy rain, short-term downpours, thunderstorms, hail, and snow in high mountainous areas are possible.
Due to rainfall, river levels are expected to rise, and short-term flash floods may occur in some mountain rivers.
As a result of unstable weather, temperatures across the country will drop by 3-6 degrees compared to previous days.
