Special Representative Vahid Hajiyev spoke at WUF13 about Karabakh's energy potential.
He stated that energy produced in the region can supply not only Karabakh but also other parts of the country.
Currently, two economic zones operate in Karabakh, especially in Zangilan. Industrial parks in Aghdam and Jabrayil host over 19 residents.
Designated as a green energy zone, the area uses solar and hydro energy. Currently, 45 MW of hydro energy is produced.
Foreign investors are investing in a 240 MW solar power plant. Other companies have submitted projects totaling hundreds of MW.
