Residents of a pilot construction project in Baku's Narimanov district have complained that they have not received their apartments for five years. They appealed to Baku TV's hotline.

According to them, in 2020 they signed a mutual agreement with the construction company. The deal promised new apartments within 24 months, plus rental payments during construction. However, neither the apartments nor the rents were delivered on time.

One resident said: "They neither finish the building nor pay our rent. We've been deceived. No one answers the phone or takes responsibility." The Narimanov District Executive Authority warned the company to speed up construction and pay rents on time.
