Residents of long-hazardous dormitories in Ganja are being relocated to newly built buildings. However, some residents express dissatisfaction with the process.
Aygün Yusifova, who contacted Baku TV's hotline, said she was given a one-room apartment instead of two rooms. "How can six people live in one room? We must leave the dormitory by June 15. I have nowhere to go," she stated.
The Ganja City Executive Authority reported that only residents with legal rights in the hazardous dormitory on Uzeyir Hajibeyli Street are provided with temporary housing under a social rental agreement in the new building. Aygün Yusifova was not given an apartment because she lacked residency rights.
