The Girdiman River changed its course, causing serious damage to a village in Ismayilli.
According to Oxu.Az citing Khazar TV, the strong current redirected the river towards the settlement, damaging several houses and farms.
Villager Alimadat Mahmudov said that the river entered the yard, making the house uninhabitable.
Barns, chicken coops, and other structures were flooded, and the yard filled with mud and silt.
Residents reported that several families were forced to leave their homes. Access to houses became difficult due to thick mud covering the area.
