The victim went to a meeting arranged through a dating site, where unknown persons stole his phone and 110 manat from his card.
Police detained three suspects: Mahammad Mammadov, 22; Zaur Hasanov, 20; and a 22-year-old woman. They are also linked to similar crimes in other parts of the capital.
A criminal case has been opened; investigation continues.
