The Executive Director of the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat), Anacláudia Rossbach, greeted the world from Baku.
According to Oxu.Az, a video and information were shared on the official "X" account of "WUF13Azerbaijan".
"On the eve of the opening of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) in Baku, the Executive Director of UN-Habitat, Anacláudia Rossbach, welcomes participants to the leading global forum on sustainable urbanization," the statement said.
It was noted that registrations from over 40,000 people from more than 180 countries create a great opportunity to advance the global dialogue on adequate housing for all.
Recall that WUF13 will be held in Baku from May 17-22. The forum is organized within the framework of close cooperation between Azerbaijan and UN-Habitat. The event focuses on international exchange of experience in sustainable urban development, smart cities and innovative urban solutions.
