Although the music industry is changing rapidly in modern times, the relevance of art and creativity is still a topic of discussion.
This time, Baku TV's questions were answered by composer, arranger and producer Ruhin Ismayilov.
Speaking about the reasons why Turkish series and films have memorable music, he noted that creating quality screen music requires enough time:
"At least six months are needed for one piece of music. With us, it's the opposite. There are cases where they say the film's premiere is in a month and the music must be ready. How can you produce quality music in a month? There is no budget, and they rush to get good work done."
According to Ruhin Ismayilov, the main problem in this field is the unchanged mindset:
"Professionalism is very low. If specialists are lacking, bring them from abroad. Have two composers, two directors, two screenwriters for one film. This would be an experience for us and help develop our film industry."
The producer also spoke about performers who value the work of composers in the song sector. According to him, one of the most exemplary artists in this regard is Roya:
"I think that one of the singers who pays musicians the best is Roya."
