Nikita Tsukin, a representative of the Russian Federation, stated that WUF13 is an essential platform for youth interaction.
He made the remarks during the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) in an interview with Oxu.Az.
According to him, participants exchanged ideas and initiatives with Azerbaijani representatives: "The forum was organized at a high level. There are many interesting exhibits. Volunteers and organizers are always ready to help and advise."
Tsukin emphasized that WUF13 has generated great interest among youth. He noted that Azerbaijani representatives shared their experiences and projects, while the Russian side proposed ideas for cooperation: "We hope to continue developing ties in the youth field and implement more interesting projects together."
The Russian representative added that Russia's youth have long-standing relations with Azerbaijan: "We have very warm relations with our close neighbors and are interested in joint initiatives not only in construction but also in socialization and environmental issues."
He also recalled COP29 held in Azerbaijan, noting that many Russian participants left with positive impressions and established new contacts for future cooperation.
