Reconstruction works at the Sarsang reservoir are set to begin. Ilham Guliyev, deputy chairman of the Regional Water Reclamation Service, announced this during a media tour.
According to him, the project involves modernizing strategically important hydraulic structures. Major repairs were carried out at the Sugovushan hydrojunction, Tartarchay main canal, and left-bank canal in 2022-23.
The reconstruction of the right-bank canal will be undertaken after the areas are completely cleared of mines.
