School No. 10 in Lankaran is in a dire condition. Once hosting 2,000 students, now only 900 study there due to the dilapidated building.
Teacher Ziyafat Bayramova said the school hasn't had major repairs since 1985: "Dust rises in classrooms, cement wears off. It's a health risk for children. Without parents' help, we would sit on the floor like schools in India."
Parent Zamin Rzayev added: "The school is very dangerous, education is impossible in winter. The situation is severe."
