A school student in Baku was allegedly insulted by a teacher. Ceyran Kazimova, a resident of Surakhani district, appealed to Oxu.Az, claiming that her son, Hacet Nemət oglu Bedelov, a student of 8B class at School No. 315, was humiliated by English teacher Rahiba during a lesson.
According to the parent, the student has respiratory issues and chews gum to alleviate discomfort. When the teacher saw him chewing gum, she called him to the board and demanded he stick the gum on his head. Despite the student's pleas and explanation, the teacher allegedly stuck the gum on his head and later cut his hair to remove it.
After the incident, the student suffered psychological trauma and refuses to go to school. The parent filed a complaint with law enforcement.
The Baku City Education Department stated that the investigation found the allegations groundless. The Ministry of Science and Education's Child Protection Department is also conducting an inquiry.
