The State Examination Center (SEC) presented an improved model for foreign language exams at the secondary education level on May 25, 2026.
Foreign language experts attended the event. Konul Hajiyeva, head of the SEC department, stated that the new model will assess students' language skills more realistically.
Starting from 2027, students will be required to write a paragraph of at least 100 words. This will enhance writing skills.
The pilot exam results were positive. The changes necessitate more writing practice in the teaching process.
