The State Examination Center (SEC) has announced that the second attempt of the master's entrance exam will be repeated.
Due to adverse weather conditions on May 17 in Baku, Absheron, and Sumgayit, the exam will be held on June 14, 2026.
Only bachelor's students who registered for the May 17 exam can participate. They must re-register via a link on the SEC website from May 21-23.
Those who received an admission slip but were late due to weather may take the exam for free. Others can participate by paying a fee.
According to regulations, bachelors can take the exam twice and the higher score is used for admission.
For the 2026-2027 academic year, the first attempt was February 15 and the second May 17. 22,780 registered for the first and 23,086 for the second.
Due to weather, late participants were allowed entry until 10:00 instead of 09:45, and the start time was delayed to 10:15, then 10:30. All 78 exam centers operated smoothly, and 90.7% (17,912) of registered participants attended.
