American independent researchers Bill and Judy Guggenheim conducted a survey of over 2,000 people over several years, studying the concept of "post-death communication."
They identified signs of attempts by the deceased to communicate with loved ones.
Smell: Relatives suddenly smell a short-lived scent associated with the deceased (e.g., their favorite perfume or cooking smell).
Dreams: Vivid and lasting dreams where the deceased appears healthy and happy, offering comforting words.
Electronic devices: Unusual behavior of electronic devices when memories of the deceased are triggered.
Animal behavior: Pets display restless behavior as a sign of attempted communication.
Coins: Coins appearing in unexpected places.
Songs: Hearing songs associated with the deceased.
Sense of presence: Feeling a touch or presence in an empty room.
Up to 40% of Americans surveyed reported experiencing such signs.
The Guggenheims emphasized: "Our research shows that the experience of communicating with the deceased is so common that it should be considered a natural and normal part of life."
