Silk Road Rally arrives in Baku

The Silk Road Rally has arrived in Baku. Organizer Nadir Serin stated that the event took place after a year of preparation.

Participants traveled through 19 countries to reach Azerbaijan. Serin said: "Coming from Europe to Turkey was easy, but after Turkey difficulties increased. Border crossings and pandemic restrictions were major obstacles. The Azerbaijani government granted special permission."

The rally includes 10 cars and 18 participants from Germany, Austria, Italy, Turkey, and England. Participant Gulay Karakimseliler said they liked Baku but must leave tomorrow.
