A severe traffic accident occurred in Sumgait.
According to Oxu.Az, the incident was recorded today at 08:05 AM on F. Hashimov Street.
A 1994-born driver, Fikret Yunis, driving a KIA Forte with license plate 77-FY-228, struck a pedestrian, Khagani Mammadov (1961), who was crossing the road.
The pedestrian died at the scene from sustained injuries.
An investigation is underway.
