The condition of individuals injured in a traffic accident on the Baku-Quba road passing through Sumqayit has been disclosed.
In response to Oxu.Az's inquiry, the Regional Medical Units Management Union (TABIB) stated that a call was recorded at the Republican Emergency and Urgent Medical Aid Center regarding the accident at the 64th km of the Baku-Quba road.
An emergency medical team was dispatched to the scene. The team hospitalized a female born in 2015 with a closed chest injury at the Children's Hospital under the Sumqayit Medical Center. The patient, who received medical services, was transferred to Sabunchu Medical Center for more specialized care. The patient's condition was assessed as stable, and necessary medical services were provided. Later, the patient was discharged from the medical facility based on a written request from family members.
It should be noted that the incident occurred in the area of Yashma gardens. As a result of a collision between ATECO and Ford brand trucks, the latter overturned to the side of the road.
