Located near Zigh-Hovsan highway in Baku's Surakhani district, the salt lake's mud is said to be healing. However, unsanitary conditions are causing concern.
According to Baku TV, visitors come in summer for knee, spine, and rheumatism pain relief. Mud is applied to the body then washed off in the lake. Cost: 50 qepik.
Despite paying 1 manat per car at the entrance, garbage piles up. Owners claim visitors are responsible.
