The Nizami Medical Center and the Republican Dermatovenerology Center have appointed deputy directors.
According to TABIB, Professor Farah Garagurbanli has been appointed as Deputy Director and Head of the Maternity Hospital at the Nizami Medical Center.
Farah Garagurbanli received her Candidate of Medical Sciences in 1997 and her Doctor of Medical Sciences in 2004. In 2024, she was awarded the academic title of professor.
From 1991 to 1999, she worked as an obstetrician-gynecologist, and from 1999 to 2008, she served as a department head and chief physician at various maternity hospitals.
From 2008 until her current appointment, she worked as an obstetrician-gynecologist at the Public Health and Reforms Center of the Ministry of Health and at Baku Medical Plaza.
Doctor of Philosophy in Medicine Rakhshanda Ahmadova has been appointed as Deputy Director and Chief Physician of the Republican Dermatovenerology Center.
Rakhshanda Ahmadova graduated from Azerbaijan Medical University in 1994 and received her PhD in Medicine in 2016.
She worked as a doctor from 1997 to 1999, as head of the Serology Department from 1999 to 2020, and as head of the Laboratory Department from 2020 until her current appointment.
