Can you pay for taxis with BakuCard in Baku? Baku Metro is being reorganized, merging BakuBus and taxi services.

President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree on the reorganization of 'Baku Metro'. According to the decree, 'BakuBus' and 'Baku Taxi Service' LLCs are merged with the metro.

Question arises: will it be possible to pay for taxi rides with 'BakuCard'? 'Baku Metro' stated that the process is new and no concrete decisions have been made yet.

The goal is to transition to a unified management model for urban transport. Digital payment solutions may be considered in the future.
