The Main State Traffic Police Department (MSTPD) has appealed to drivers and pedestrians regarding the windy weather.
According to the National Hydrometeorological Service, yellow and orange warnings have been issued today for Baku, the Absheron peninsula, and some other regions.
The MSTPD asks everyone to be cautious and strictly follow traffic rules to prevent unpleasant situations on the roads due to the unfavorable weather conditions after heavy rains.
Owners and drivers of trailers, tented, and long-sized cargo vehicles should be more responsible, remembering that driving in windy conditions is difficult and dangerous. They should pay special attention to securing their cargo. It is recommended to park vehicles away from objects that could slide or overturn, and prefer closed parking areas.
Pedestrians should also consider the weather conditions and avoid behavior that endangers their own and others' lives and health.
