The 'Dostlug' oil tanker, built at the Baku Shipyard and gifted by Azerbaijan to Turkmenistan, has arrived at the Turkmenbashi International Seaport.
According to Oxu.Az citing Baku TV, a festive event and concert program with officials, port staff, and youth were organized at the port to welcome the vessel and its crew.
The 'Dostlug' tanker was presented during Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedow's official visit to Baku and is seen as a new symbol of economic, transport, and cultural cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan. Built to modern safety and environmental standards, the ship is 141 meters long, 17 meters wide, and has a carrying capacity of approximately 8,000 tons.
