Deputy Minister of Energy Elnur Soltanov spoke at the Baku Energy Forum. He announced a cooperation agreement with the Azerbaijan State Water Resources Agency.
The agency is one of the country's largest electricity consumers. Two pilot projects are being implemented at pumping stations for water supply.
Soltanov noted that the cooperation strategy covers two areas: modernization of equipment and network optimization.
